Consul General Inaugurates Zoho Corporation’s New Office in Essen, Germany
On June 27, 2025, Consul General Mr. B.S. Mubarak participated in the inauguration of Zoho Corporation GmbH’s new office in Essen, marking the launch of the company’s DACH headquarters to serve Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
In his keynote address, the Consul General emphasized India’s global leadership in digitalization and IT, highlighting how Indian innovation and talent have powered population-scale digital solutions, enhanced governance, and fostered inclusive growth.
The event was moderated by Mr. Suvish Viswanathan, Head of Marketing (UK & Europe), and attended by prominent dignitaries including Lord Mayor Mr. Thomas Kufen, Mr. Tobias Traupel from the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs, and Mr. Andre Boschem, Managing Director of EWG. Business partners from across the region also joined the occasion.
Mr. Sridhar Iyengar, Managing Director (Europe), Zoho Corporation, shared insights into Zoho’s growth as a global software product company.
Zoho’s expansion underscores the growing footprint of Indian IT in Germany and reinforces North Rhine-Westphalia’s position as a hub for digital innovation.
