Ambassador Hemant H. Kotalwar and Mayor Pekka Timonen Strengthen India–Vantaa Economic Ties at “From Insight to Impact – Bridge to India”
Ambassador Hemant H. Kotalwar and Mayor of Vantaa Pekka Timonen delivered the opening remarks at “From Insight to Impact – Bridge to India,” organised by the City of Vantaa in collaboration with the Embassy of India and the Sisu Factory Global Growth Program.
The Ambassador thanked the Mayor for bringing together Indian and Vantaa-based businesses to strengthen economic partnerships, particularly in the context of the India–EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA). He highlighted the significant opportunities to enhance trade, investment and innovation linkages between India and Vantaa.
A business delegation from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), led by Secretary General Shri Anant Swarup, participated in the event and highlighted emerging business opportunities in India in the context of the India–EU FTA.
