In 2002 he came to United Kingdom as a Career officer in State Bank of India. He started his professional career as a probationary officer in 1974. His biggest Challenge in life is being the leader of the team in 2003 that won the law suit in the Royal Court of justice against Deloitte and Touche (Filed as administrators to BCCI-the failed bank- against State Bank of India), saving the bank a sum of $ 125 million. He is an ardent fan of cricket.
