Marathi Katta Germany e.V. celebrated its 12th Ganeshotsav on 6 September 2025 at Stadthalle Bergen, Frankfurt, bringing together nearly 600 guests including representatives of Indo-German associations, student groups, sponsors, and partners.
Shri Vibha Kant Sharma, Consul (Press, Information & Culture) & Head of Chancery from the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, graced the occasion as the official representative. In his address, he expressed gratitude to Shri Ajit Ranade, founder of Marathi Katta Germany e.V., and his dedicated team for hosting the vibrant celebration, commending their continued efforts in promoting Indian traditions and culture in Germany.
The festive evening featured cultural performances, the energetic Lezim dance, and the screening of the award-winning German short film Der Fall des Kasus, directed by the Marathi Katta team and performed by their own talented members.
The celebration concluded with a traditional Prasad dinner, lovingly prepared and served by the Marathi Katta food team, leaving guests with cherished memories of devotion, culture, and community spirit.
