The Embassy of India, Berlin, and ICCR in Germany – Indisches Kulturzentrum, TTC – celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 6 August 2025 in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris. This cherished festival honours the sacred bond of protection between siblings.
Ambassador Ajit Gupte highlighted the festival’s origins and its evolution over time, symbolising a vow of care and protection between brothers and sisters. He also noted that the essence of Raksha Bandhan extends beyond siblings, fostering trust, goodwill, and mutual respect in all relationships.
As part of the celebration, the Brahma Kumaris tied rakhis to the Embassy officers and staff, offering a gesture of goodwill, compassion, and unity.
