Indian Art Exhibition at CGI Frankfurt Showcases Rich Tapestry of Indian Traditions
India in Germany (Consulate General of India, Frankfurt), in collaboration with Frankfurt Divas, hosted an engaging event titled ‘Indian Art Exhibition – Celebrating Traditional and Contemporary Indian Art’, along with a workshop at the Consulate premises.
The exhibition brought together talented Indian artists who showcased a vibrant array of traditional and modern Indian art forms, including Madhubani, Mithila, Kalamkari, Warli, and Contemporary Art.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Vibha Kant Sharma, Head of Chancery, commended Ms. Pallavi Jha, Frankfurt Divas, and all participating artists for their efforts in promoting India’s artistic heritage. He also appreciated the workshops conducted for children, which encouraged creativity, cultural appreciation, and deeper awareness of India’s rich art traditions.
Consul General Mr. B.S. Mubarak, who visited the exhibition, lauded the outstanding artworks of

- Ms. Chaitali Dutta Chowdhury (Kalamkari Art)
- Ms. Preeti Kant (Warli Art)
- Ms. Suruchi (Modern Art)
He praised their passion and dedication to preserving and celebrating Indian art and thanked Ms. Pallavi Jha and Frankfurt Divas for curating this wonderful platform that connects the diaspora with India’s rich cultural legacy.
