Indian Embassy Hosts Interaction with Newly Arriving Students in Denmark

Welcoming New Indian Students to Denmark 🇮🇳🇩🇰

The Embassy of India in Copenhagen organized a special meet to welcome newly arriving Indian students pursuing studies across universities in Denmark. Ambassador Manish Prabhat addressed the gathering and spoke about the India–Denmark Green Strategic Partnership, highlighting the important role of academia and students in strengthening this collaboration. He also shared insights on adapting to life in Denmark, maximizing academic opportunities, and navigating the job market after graduation.

The event featured a vibrant cultural performance by Ramya Baskaran and Anamika Biswas, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage. Representatives from T.H.U.L.I.R. Youth Organisation, Mozim Michael and Keerthana, presented their initiatives to build a strong support network for Indian students in Denmark.

Students also heard valuable first-hand experiences from Bhargavi Ganapati on settling into student life and from Kevin Anil Varghese on finding employment opportunities while studying in Denmark.

The interactive session provided a platform for students to connect, exchange experiences, and learn about available support systems. Counsellor Pankaj Singhal reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting Indian students throughout their academic journey in Denmark.

The event concluded with a lively Q&A session covering topics such as the India–EU Free Trade Agreement, opportunities in the healthcare sector, and other areas of India–Denmark cooperation.
