The Consul General of India in Germany from the Consulate General of India, Hamburg met Dr. Christopher Schwieger, State Councillor at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Innovation, Hamburg.
The meeting focused on further strengthening India–Hamburg cooperation, with discussions covering key areas such as trade and investment, innovation and startups, logistics and port-led development, skilled workforce mobility, and sustainable economic growth. Both sides exchanged views on leveraging Hamburg’s role as a global logistics and innovation hub and India’s rapidly expanding economy to deepen mutually beneficial partnerships.
The interaction reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing economic ties and fostering long-term collaboration between India and the City of Hamburg.
