A States Event was held in Hotel Sheraton on 14th March, “Unity in Diversity, a unique opportunity to showcase the States of India”.
This event was attended by Ms. Asa Coenraads, Member of Parliament, President of India Sweden Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr.Rasmus Ling, Member of Parliament and member of the India Sweden Parliamentary Friendship Group,Ms. Eva Lousie Erlandsson Slorach, President of the Stockholm City Council. It was attended by Ambassadors, diplomats, officials from the Foreign Office, people from the Indian community. Presentations by Mr. Sabrinath Venugopalan of Bharat Vikings showcased the diversity of India. A musical tour of the various States of India was showcased by Mrs. Ananya Dutta of Sanskriti Group in collaboration with Jhanjariya Dance group, Alen Dance Group, Omkara Group and Saraswathy Kala Kendra Institution of Fine Arts. The event ended with Indian delicacies.
