Ambassador Ajit Gupte delivered the keynote address at the panel discussion “Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat” during National Science Day celebrations organized by Embassy of India, Berlin at DESY in Hamburg on 9 March 2026.
The event featured an inspiring lecture by Nobel Laureate Reinhard Genzel and remarks by Silke Launert, alongside discussions on strengthening India–Germany cooperation in emerging technologies.
More than 200 participants from 75+ Indian and German organisations attended the event.
