Celebrating 77 Years of the Republic of India in Finland
The Embassy of India in Finland hosted a National Day Reception to commemorate the 77th Republic Day of India, marking a proud moment of shared friendship and cooperation.
The event was graced by Mr. Sakari Puisto, Finland’s Minister of Economic Affairs, as the Chief Guest, alongside Ambassador Hemant H. Kotalwar, who addressed the distinguished gathering.
Adding a cultural touch, a group of Indian artists presented a soulful rendition of the Indian and Finnish national anthems, beautifully accompanied by traditional Indian instruments.
In his remarks, Minister Puisto highlighted the importance of the recently concluded India–EU Free Trade Agreement, emphasizing its strong potential to boost bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation between India and Finland.
The reception brought together members of the diplomatic corps, senior Finnish officials, business leaders, media representatives, and the Indian diaspora, reaffirming the deepening and dynamic partnership between the two nations.
