Ambassador met Professor Pushkar Sohoni to mark the successful conclusion of his tenure as the ICCR Chair of Indian Studies at the University of Vienna.
During his three-month term, Prof. Sohoni conducted two well-attended and insightful courses—History of Architecture and The Early Modern Deccan—drawing keen interest from students and scholars alike.
The ICCR Chair was established under an MoU between the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the University of Vienna, aimed at deepening academic and cultural ties between India 🇮🇳 and Austria 🇦🇹 through the study of Indian history and culture.
