Consul General B. S. Mubarak Highlights India–Saarland Synergies at IHK Business Event
Consul General Mr. B. S. Mubarak participated in the business event ‘Saarland & India – Opportunities for Business, Technology Cooperation & Innovation’ organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Saarland.
State Secretary Mrs. Elena Yorgova-Ramanauskas also addressed the gathering, underlining the growing ties between Saarland and India. The event saw active participation from several Saarland-based companies exploring collaborative prospects with India.
Delivering the keynote address titled ‘India–Germany: Partners in Progress’, Consul General Mubarak spotlighted the vast potential for partnerships in sectors such as iron and steel, automobiles and auto components, electronics and hardware, IT and informatics, AI and innovation, start-ups, aerospace and defense, heavy engineering, and biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Vijay Kumar and Ms. Priti Prabhoo from Primaa Enterprise LLP emphasized the critical role of strengthening Indo-German business ties in their presentation.
A common thread throughout the event was the recognition of strong existing synergies between India and Saarland. As Saarland Ambassador Ms. Christine Regitz aptly noted, it is now time for Saarland to look outward—especially towards India—to unlock new avenues of cooperation.
