🇮🇳🇩🇰 Seva Pakhwada: India–Denmark Community Promotes a Greener Future
The Embassy of India, Copenhagen, in association with Danish India Voluntary Association (DIVA), organised an environmental awareness programme at Løjtegårdsskolen, Kastrup, as part of Seva Pakhwada (17 September–2 October).
Students actively participated through a cleanliness-themed song and an awareness run promoting environmental protection and sustainability.
Mr. Allan Andersen, Mayor of Tårnby Kommune, graced the event as Chief Guest and appreciated the contributions of the Indian community.
Counsellor Shri Ashish K.S. Arya highlighted the India–Denmark Green Strategic Partnership, while Shri Ramesh Bhardwaj of DIVA spoke about the strong bonds between the two communities.
As part of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” a tree was planted by the dignitaries. The Mayor was also presented with a Rogan Art “Tree of Life” painting and a coffee-table book on the Himalayas.
