On the fringes of COP29 in Baku, India and Sweden jointly hosted the Leadership Group for Industry Transition’s (LeadIT) annual summit on November 20, 2024. In industries that are difficult to mitigate, member nations and businesses reiterated their commitment to a low-carbon transition.
The five-year report of the Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT) was released by Swedish Environment Minister Ms. Romina Pourmokhtari and Hon. Kirtivardhan Singh, Minister of State for Environment, Forests, and Climate Change.
The initiative’s noteworthy accomplishments since its launch in 2019 are highlighted in the report.
