Medicinal herbs constitute an indispensable element in traditional medicine and wellness therapy. Knowledge of many of such medicinal herbs that grow in wild as well as those grown in kitchen gardens are for generations a source of indigenous herbal remedies for common ailments as well as some chronic diseases.
The AYUSH Information Cell at Consulate General of India, Frankfurt organised a lecture-cum-demonstration by noted herbal expert Ms Sibylle Hasler who presented an informative account of various wild herbs with their use in treatment of common ailments. The event was well attended by members of the Indian Ladies Club and several other health and wellness enthusiasts from Frankfurt Rhein Main area.
The Consulate would like to thank Ms Sibylle Hasler for her valuable contribution and would also like to thank the Indian Ladies’ Club, Frankfurt for their support in co-organising such events.
