Four Labour Codes Come Into Effect
The Government has made the four Labour Codes effective.
By decriminalising minor offences and introducing compounding provisions, the new Codes establish a more facilitative and transparent regulatory environment.
The reform shifts the focus from punishment to fines, encouraging better compliance, ease of doing business and stronger worker–employer trust.
