Ms. Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, visited the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, one of Europe’s leading chemical hubs. During the visit, she toured the chemicals cluster and engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing 🇮🇳–🇧🇪 collaboration in the sector.
The Secretary also met Mr. Piet De Munter, CEO of Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), where both sides exchanged views on expanding trade, investment, and technology partnerships between India and Belgium.
The visit highlighted the strong complementarities between the two nations in the field of chemicals, petrochemicals, and sustainable industrial innovation, reaffirming the shared commitment to advancing mutually beneficial cooperation.
