Tradition Meets Technology for Global Health

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered the Closing Address at the 2nd WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine, highlighting the timeless wisdom of traditional medicine as a sustainable solution to modern health challenges.

Emphasising that Ayurveda defines health as balance, the Prime Minister noted that many lifestyle diseases stem from imbalances in diet, sleep, emotions and work-life patterns. He underlined that when tradition and technology come together, global healthcare becomes more effective and inclusive.

Key highlights from the summit:
🔹 Launch of the My Ayush Integrated Services Portal for seamless access to Ayush services and digital health solutions
🔹 Unveiling of the Ayush Mark as a global benchmark for quality, safety and authenticity
🔹 Felicitation of Prime Minister’s Awards for Yoga (2021–2025) recipients
🔹 Inauguration of the new WHO South-East Asia Regional Office complex in Delhi, strengthening collaboration with the World Health Organization

India continues to lead the way by integrating AI with traditional medicine, opening new frontiers in research and evidence-based healthcare.
