India-EU Parliamentary Engagement: United Stand Against Terrorism
The All-Party Parliamentary Delegation, led by Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, held a productive meeting with Ms. Christel Schaldemose, Vice-President of the European Parliament responsible for Asia. The meeting provided a valuable platform to share concerns about the use of cross-border terrorism as a tool of state policy to destabilize progress in Kashmir and provoke communal tensions.
The delegation strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and expressed appreciation for India’s unwavering zero-tolerance policy on terrorism.
Later, during a media interaction in Brussels, the delegation highlighted India’s firm response to terrorism, the objectives of #OperationSindoor, and the shared vision for strengthening the India-EU partnership, especially in counter-terrorism cooperation.
