India–Portugal Strengthen Cooperation on Administrative Reforms & AI-Driven Governance 🇮🇳🇵🇹
The Hon’ble Minister of State in the Department of Atomic Energy of India, Jitendra Singh, met with the Hon’ble Minister for Reforms of Portugal, Gonçalo Matias, on the sidelines of the AI Impact Summit 2026.
The engagement included a one-to-one meeting followed by delegation-level discussions.
Both sides agreed to establish a Joint Working Mechanism on Administrative Reforms and Digital Governance, with a strong focus on deploying Artificial Intelligence in public service delivery—reflecting their shared commitment to structured and outcome-oriented cooperation.
Priority areas identified include:
