Ambassador Saurabh Kumar had a productive interaction with IMEC Senior Vice Presidents Lode Louwers and Srikant Samavedam, accompanied by Secretary MeitY, Shri S. Krishnan, during the latter’s visit to Brussels for meetings under the India–EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) framework.

Discussions focused on exploring avenues to strengthen collaboration between India and IMEC, a world-leading research and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technologies. Both sides emphasized the importance of building resilient semiconductor value chains, fostering joint research, innovation, and capacity building, and creating mutually beneficial partnerships in advanced technology sectors.
