Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Croatia Ivan Anušić met Ambassador of India to Croatia Arun Goel on 13 November 2025 at the Ministry of Defence in Zagreb.
The meeting focused on advancing defence cooperation between India and Croatia, including sharing expertise, expanding defence industrial partnerships, and exploring new areas of collaboration.
They reviewed global and regional security dynamics, particularly in Southeast Europe, and discussed ongoing modernization initiatives of the Croatian Armed Forces. Minister Anušić highlighted Croatia’s efforts to strengthen maritime capabilities through the acquisition of a multipurpose corvette, which will enhance the operational capacity of the Croatian Navy.
Minister Anušić thanked Ambassador Goel for his visit and expressed strong interest in deepening the growing defence partnership between the two nations.
