India and Iceland held their 3rd Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) in New Delhi on 06 March 2023. The Indian side was led by Shri Sanjay Verma, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs. The Iceland side was led by H.E Mr. Martin Eyjólfsson, Permanent Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland.
Discussions covered bilateral, regional and multilateral issues including political, India-EFTA-TEPA negotiations, cooperation in fisheries and geothermal energy, increasing P2P ties, India-EU cooperation, Arctic and Ukraine conflict.
