@HCILondon hosted a vibrant and heartwarming Eid Milan celebration yesterday, bringing together a diverse and distinguished gathering. The event was graced by the presence of Heads of Diplomatic Missions in London, Hon’ble Members of Parliament, Lords, journalists, and eminent members of the Indian diaspora.
The evening unfolded with a rich blend of culture, music, and spiritual reflection. A soul-stirring Urdu prayer by Mahe Talat Siddique set a serene tone, followed by a deeply moving, self-composed poem by Shafqat Khan that resonated with themes of unity, peace, and celebration.
Adding to the cultural grandeur were mesmerizing instrumental performances — a captivating sitar and tabla jugalbandi by the acclaimed Mahboob Nadeem and @hanifkhan1894, transporting the audience into a world of classical Indian melody and rhythm.
The Eid Milan served not only as a festive occasion but also as a celebration of India’s pluralistic spirit, fostering connections across communities and cultures in the heart of London.
