Friends of Indian Diaspora (๐
๐๐๐), Hannover, Germany in cooperation with the Consulate General of India, Hamburg celebrated World Hindi Day on 15th January 2023. Participants and speakers from several countries on 5 different continents attended the event.
The event was graced by Mr. Gulshan Dhingra, Acting Consul General of India, Hamburg who spoke about how languages connect the world. Dr.-Ing. Gautam Sagar, Founder of Friends of Indian Diaspora (FOID) emphasized on giving a new dimension to Hindi as per the demand of the time. Prominent personalities who addressed the event included world-renowned oceanographer Prof. Emeritus Victor Smetacek – Pravasi Bharatiya Samman awarded for his contribution to science, Mr. Laxmi Shankar Bajpai, India, former Deputy Director AIR Akashwani, Mr. Pratap Somvanshi, poet and executive editor of the Hindustan Newspaper in India. We then had a chance to hear different forms of Hindi poetry, more than 10 & touching experiences as well scientific wisdom from Mr. Vijendra Sharma, Mrs. Priti Sinha, Dr. Aruna Narlikar, Mrs. Anjana Singh, Dr. Shipra Shilpi Saxena, Dr. Krishna Kanhiya, Mr. Kapil Kumar, Mrs. Pooja Anil, Mr. Jitu Jalesari, Mrs. Sarika Falor, Mrs. Shalini Verma, Mrs. Shubhra Ojha, Mrs. Ashwini Kegaonkar, Dr. Ritu Sharma & Mrs. Sudha Upadhyay. foidofficialfb Gautam Sagar
