Global AI Meets the Global South Join the AI Impact Summit 2026 in India

India to host AI Impact Summit 2026: 19–20 February 2026. 🇮🇳
Organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India (@goi_meity), the AI Impact Summit 2026 will mark a historic milestone as the first-ever Global AI Summit hosted in the Global South. Bringing together global leaders, innovators, policymakers, and visionaries, the Summit aims to foster collaboration on responsible, inclusive, and human-centric AI.

The event will serve as a key platform to deliberate on the transformative potential of AI in addressing global challenges—spanning areas such as sustainable development, equitable access to technology, digital inclusion, and women and youth empowerment. It will also highlight India’s leadership in shaping an AI ecosystem that is ethical, transparent, and accessible to all.

As part of the pre-summit activities, participants across the world are invited to join the Global AI Challenges designed to nurture innovation and inclusivity:

  • AI for ALL – Global Impact Challenge: Encouraging groundbreaking AI solutions for social good.

  • AI by HER – Women-led Innovation Challenge: Showcasing the power of women in shaping the future of AI.

  • YUVAi – Global Youth Challenge (13–21 years): Inspiring young minds to explore the limitless possibilities of AI.
