Embassy of India, Prague – Painting Competition
On the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Embassy of India in Prague is delighted to announce a Painting Competition for young Indian artists residing in the Czech Republic. The event aims to celebrate the values of unity, harmony, and national integration, which form the foundation of India’s strength and diversity.
Theme: “Unity in Diversity – India through My Eyes”
This theme invites participants to express how they see India’s cultural richness and togetherness through their imagination and creativity. Children are encouraged to use colours and ideas that reflect India’s vibrant traditions, festivals, landscapes, and people — all united as one nation.
Submission Deadline: 2 November 2025Eligibility:
Open to Indian nationals below 16 years of age living in the Czech Republic.
How to Participate:
• Create your artwork using any medium of your choice on A3 or A4 size paper.
• Write your name, address, and contact number clearly on the back of your painting.
• Submit your entries by post or in person to the Cultural Wing at:

All entries will be reviewed, and winners will receive certificates and special prizes recognizing their creativity and artistic expression. Selected artworks may also be displayed at the Embassy during cultural events, giving young artists an opportunity to showcase their talent to the community.
Through this competition, the Embassy encourages children to explore the idea of “Unity in Diversity”, celebrate India’s shared heritage, and express their love for the nation through art. Let your imagination bring to life the colours of India and the values that connect us all.
