India–Finland Dialogue on Responsible AI Begins in Helsinki

The City of Helsinki, Embassy of India, and Helsinki Partners jointly hosted the “Sustainable AI Future” event in Helsinki — a curtain-raiser to the India AI Impact Summit 2026 — advancing global dialogue on responsible, accountable and transformative AI.

The programme concluded with a networking reception hosted by Mayor Daniel Sazonov.

Mayor Sazonov and Ambassador Hemant H. Kotalwar highlighted the shared commitment of India and Finland to harness AI for inclusive growth, ethical innovation and sustainable development, while appreciating the strong Finnish AI ecosystem and the contribution of the Indian diaspora in Finland.

Experts from Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, University of Helsinki and Nest AI shared forward-looking insights on transparent, trustworthy and globally interoperable AI ecosystems.
