India in Germany (Embassy of India, Berlin) and ICCR in Germany – Indisches Kulturzentrum, TTC, in collaboration with Binzer Bucht, hosted a vibrant celebration of the International Day of Yoga on 12 June 2025 at the iconic pier in Binz, Rügen.
The event featured a serene and energizing yoga session, based on the Common Yoga Protocol, led by experienced instructors from The Art of Living – Berlin.
Ambassador Ajit Gupte addressed the gathering, emphasizing the enduring importance of yoga in fostering inner balance, mindfulness, and collective well-being.
Mayor Karsten Schneider graciously extended his support to the initiative, commending the Embassy’s efforts in promoting holistic health and intercultural understanding.
Trisha Sakhlecha, Director of ICCR in Germany – Indisches Kulturzentrum, TTC, expressed heartfelt thanks to Binzer Bucht, the City of Binz, and all participants. She highlighted how yoga continues to unite people across borders, transcending cultural and geographical divides.
With the gentle Baltic breeze, peaceful minds, and yoga mats laid out by the sea, Binz came alive in the spirit of yoga.
