India in Germany (Consulate General of India, Frankfurt) hosted a reception at Hotel Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof to commemmorate the 75th Republic Day of India. H.E. Mr Uwe Becker, State Secretary for Finance, Hessen State Chancellery graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Mr Mike Josef, Lord Mayor of Frankfurt also joined the celebrations as Guest of Honour. Ms Eileen O’Sullivan, Deputy Mayor of Frankfurt was also present. Members of Consular Corps, senior local Govt officials, Indian community members and German friends joined the event. The audience was enthralled by the cultural extravaganza presented by Indian artists.
