Suspension of personal visits to Embassy w.e.f. 29.12.2021

In view of the significant rise in Omicron cases recently in Helsinki and prevailing local guidelines, it has been decided to suspend personal visits to the Embassy w.e.f. 29.12.2021 (Wednesday) until further notice.

It is hereby informed that applications for Consular Services such as Passport application, Attestation, Police Clearance Certificate, Visa, OCI etc. may be sent either through registered post or applications in a sealed envelope can be dropped off at the Embassy’s letter box at Kulosaarentie 32, 00570 Helsinki. Applicants are also requested to enclose a duly stamped self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of Euro 11.00 within Finland and Euro 19.00 from Estonia, for the purpose of dispatching their documents after completing requisite services.

In view of the ongoing COVID situation, there might be some delay in processing of these applications. However, the applicants would be updated about the status of their applications from time-to-time. They can contact the Embassy for any query either by email or telephone numbers mentioned on the website.

Please note that the Embassy will not be held liable or answerable for the loss of any documents in transit.
