Embassy Commemorates Tenure Completions and Welcomes Incoming Officials

The Embassy bid a warm farewell to two of its esteemed Officers — Mr. J. S. Kandhari, First Secretary, and Mr. Devendra S. Tolia, Second Secretary — on the successful completion of their tenure.
In a brief ceremony held at the Embassy, Ambassador Saurabh Kumar expressed his appreciation for their dedicated service, professionalism, and valuable contributions to strengthening India’s engagement with Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union. He highlighted the important roles both officers played in advancing India’s diplomatic, cultural, and consular outreach during their posting.

Ambassador Kumar, on behalf of the entire Embassy team, presented farewell gifts as a token of gratitude and extended his best wishes to both officers for continued success and fulfilment in their future assignments.

The Embassy also had the pleasure of welcoming two new Officers — Mr. Ananth R., First Secretary, and Mr. Praveen Kumar, Second Secretary — who have joined the Embassy of India, Brussels.
Their arrival marks the beginning of a new chapter of collaboration, and the Embassy looks forward to their contributions in further strengthening bilateral relations and delivering efficient services to the Indian community in the region.

The occasion served as an opportunity to acknowledge the continuity, commitment, and teamwork that remain integral to the Embassy’s functioning and its mission to represent India’s interests abroad.
