Dr. S. Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister of India, began his official visit to Belgium with a productive meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot.
During their interaction, EAM Jaishankar expressed gratitude for Belgium’s steadfast support and solidarity in the global fight against terrorism. He acknowledged the growing strength and positive momentum in India-Belgium bilateral relations, as well as the expanding partnership between India and the European Union.
Their discussions spanned a wide spectrum of cooperation, including enhancing trade and investment ties, advancing collaboration in technology and innovation, strengthening defence and security partnerships, expanding engagement in the pharmaceutical sector, and promoting joint initiatives in clean and renewable energy.
