A proud moment for the nation as President Droupadi Murmu undertook a submarine sea sortie on INS Vaghsheer, a Kalvari-class submarine built in India by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. with transfer of technology from France’s Naval Group.
This milestone reflects the depth of India’s indigenous shipbuilding capabilities and the strength of the longstanding, trusted India–France defence partnership.
