Deepavali Shines Bright in Portugal! ✨🇵🇹
Celebrating the inscription of Deepavali into UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, @IndiainPortugal illuminated India House and beautifully decorated the Embassy to mark this historic moment.
The Indian community across Portugal joined the celebrations with great enthusiasm — lighting diyas at the Radha Krishna Temple and BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, and holding special prayer sessions to honour this global recognition of India’s cultural heritage.
