Consul General visited the merck innovation centre and corporate museum in Darmstadt and intercated with Mr Frank Gotthardt, Head of Global Stakeholder Engagement.
It was heartening to know about the long-standing link of the Merck family with India dating back to 1881 and about historical engagement with Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore when he visited Darmstadt more than a century ago. Mr Gotthardt informed about Merck’s ongoing and expanding engagement with India and their desire to engage closely with Indian students and scientific community in Darmstadt to further expand the cooperation not only in economic but also in scientific sphere.
