An amazing display of cohesiveness and harmony by Indian community associations and yoga organisations based in Frankfurt Rhein Main area as they joined hands with Consulate General of India, Frankfurt to celebrate the 9th #internationaldayofyoga at Weseler Werft along the Mainüfer in the beautiful city of Frankfurt- the financial capital of Europe- in the true spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
Against the backdrop of the imposing and magnificent headquarters of the European Central Bank and along the banks of the serene Main river, hundreds of Yoga enthusiasts performed Yoga and meditation, underlining the salience of Yoga for peace, friendship and harmony. The participants also enjoyed Indian cuisine, especially millets and Ayurveda based recipes and received information about ayurveda lifestyle, herbalremedies and millets.
We would like to thank all the participating Indian associations and Yoga organisations including Art of Living Foundation, Isha Foundation, Sahaja Yoga e.V, Bramhakumaris, Bhakti Marga, Gayatri Mantra Club e.V. etc for their support and active participation towards promotion of Yoga, health and wellness.
