Business Roundtable on the Sidelines of 77th Republic Day Reception, 26.01.2026
India in Germany (Consulate General of India, Frankfurt) organized a Business Roundtable on the sidelines of the 77th Republic Day Reception on 26 January 2026 to review and strengthen bilateral business and trade relations between India 🇮🇳 and Germany 🇩🇪, following the successful visit of German Chancellor H.E. Mr. Friedrich Merz to India.
The discussions focused on assessing opportunities arising from the eagerly anticipated India–EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and identifying ways to enhance economic cooperation across sectors. Key stakeholders from government and semi-government organizations, Chambers of Commerce, and the India–Germany business community participated and shared their valuable insights on leveraging the FTA to boost bilateral trade, investment, and collaboration.
