On the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the Embassy paid solemn tribute to one of India’s greatest freedom fighters and a true symbol of courage, sacrifice, and resilience.
Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the valiant leader of India’s tribal communities, ignited the flame of resistance against colonial rule and stood firm for the rights, dignity, and identity of India’s indigenous people. His indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment to justice continue to inspire generations of Indians to uphold the values of bravery, unity, and love for the motherland.
As part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh Pakhwada, the Embassy reaffirmed its respect and gratitude to all tribal heroes who contributed to India’s freedom movement and cultural heritage.
