Ambassador Acquino Vimal met Tima Iyer Utne, SVP South Asia and Turkey- International Power Statkraft, accompanied by Country Manager of Statkraft India – Rahul Varshney, Mr. Bredo Erichsen and Mr. Deepak Kakkar. Statkraft is one of the leading hydropower company internationally and Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy. Statkraft has its presence in India since 2004. The Ambassador was briefed on Statkraft’s current and future operations in India as well as its ambitious plan to generate 5 GW renewable power in India in the coming years.
