On November 25, 2024, in Warsaw, Ambassador Nagma M. Mallick of the Government of India and Mr. Sebastian Gajewski, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Family, Labour, and Social Policy, signed the India-Poland Social Security Agreement. The Administrative Arrangement to the India-Poland Social Security Agreement was also signed by the two parties.
During his historic visit to Poland on August 22, 2024, Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Poland Mr. Donald Tusk together held a press conference to announce the conclusion of the Social Security Agreement.
Both Polish nationals employed in India and Indian citizens working in Poland will benefit from the portability of social security and pension-related benefits following the approval of this agreement.
