Amb Harish Parvathaneni attended the launch of the new Germany Policy for Development Cooperation with Asia bmz_bund & participated in a panel discussion w/ GermanyMinister for BMZ svenja.schulze.nrw , Nobel Laureate maria ressa, Deputy Director-General eu_partnerships Myriam Ferran and Board member of German Asia-Pacific Business Business Association (OAV) Axel Stepken. This was followed by a hybrid fishbowl discussion with Parliamentary State Secretary for BMZ Bärbel Kofler and others.
The discussions covered wide-ranging aspects of international development cooperation. Ongoing efforts of multiple stakeholders, including India and Germany, towards equitable and sustainable development of the Global South were also discussed.
