Strengthening Sweden–India Collaboration on Environment & Sustainability
Ambassador Anurag Bhushan engaged in a meaningful discussion with IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute at its headquarters, focusing on deepening environmental cooperation between Sweden and India.
The meeting reviewed IVL’s expanding engagement with India, preparations for a Swedish delegation visit to India next month, and collaboration on the proposed Sweden–India Centre of Excellence on Water. Discussions also covered IVL’s vision to introduce Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in India and plans to host an EPD Conference in 2026, marking a significant step toward sustainable production and transparency.
