Ambassador Ajit Gupte visited Munich-based BAUER KOMPRESSOREN on 17 Feb 2026 and toured its high-pressure compressor facility with founder Philipp Bauer.
BAUER systems support breathing-air and gas applications for hospitals, firefighters/SCBA, defence, offshore and deep-sea operations, and other strategic sectors. The company’s specialised compressors are seeing a growing market in India’s healthcare, defence and biogas sectors.
With an existing factory in Pune and plans to expand investments, the visit reflects strong India–Germany business momentum.
