In a recent speech, Ambassador Ajit Gupte highlighted the enormous potential for growing India’s service exports to Germany at a seminar hosted by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) of India. He emphasized that there are a lot of opportunities in important industries including engineering, financial services, information technology (IT), research and development (R&D), and IT-enabled services (ITES). India’s strategic significance as a center for Global Capability Centers (GCCs), which aid German businesses by promoting innovation and improving operational effectiveness across a range of industries, was also highlighted by the ambassador. His comments highlight the growing economic partnership between Germany and India, especially in the service industry.
