Additional Secretary Abhishek Singh from the Ministry of Electronics & IT visited London from 10–13 November 2025 to boost India–UK cooperation in AI ahead of the #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026.
He held key meetings with leaders from DSIT, FCDO, and the UK Department for Business and Trade, including Emran Mian, Minister Kanishka Narayan, and former PM Rishi Sunak. They discussed AI governance, innovation, and trusted digital technologies.

He also visited the University of Oxford and Imperial College London, meeting top AI scholars like Prof. Robert F. Trager and Prof. Mary Ryan to discuss AI governance and sustainable tech.
His tour of Imperial’s DIGIBAT Lab highlighted growing ties between Indian and UK researchers as India prepares for the India AII
