Strengthening Electoral Ties: India-Poland Delegation Visit
A 5-member delegation from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha visited Warsaw from 8–12 December 2025. During the visit, the delegation:

Met the Chairman of the National Electoral Commission of Poland, Secretary-General of the Community of Democracies (CoD), and the Head of the Department of Political Systems, University of Warsaw to share insights on India’s electoral process and learn about Poland’s election practices.

Interacted with Member of Parliament Ms. Kinga Gajewska, Chairperson of the Polish-Indian Parliamentary Group, and various think-tanks, discussing investment opportunities in Odisha, EVMs, and electoral best practices.

Engaged with the Indian diaspora, explaining the process for NRI voter inclusion in the electoral roll.
This visit highlights India’s commitment to strengthening international electoral cooperation, promoting democratic best practices, and enhancing engagement with the global Indian community.
