2. Last Confrontation with Nehru.

Sardar Patel and Nehru Although have took part in many healthy discussion about governance and many more there was a situation where Nehru named his as a communal in a meeting that lead to scuffle between the two. MKK Nair a 1947batch IAS Officer, writes in his memorial ” With No III Feeling to Any body”- this is the situation where the scuffle took place and Patel feeling humiliated quit from the meeting never communicate with Nehru.

3. Opposed existence of RSS.

The existence of Rashtriya swayamsewak Sangh(RSS) which is headed by Golwalkar is opposed by Patel as it could lead to an communal poison which is also responsible to the death of Gandhi. He said this statements to the media too.

4. Patel was diseased by Bubonic Plague.

Gujarat when hit by Bubonic Plague, one of the dearest friend of Patel also got infected by this deadly disease. He himself also got infected as he took care of his friend out of courtesy. There after Patel took refuge in an isolated dilapidated temple in Nadiad leaving all his family behind. After full recovery he came back.

5. No record of date of birth.

Officially the date of birth of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in not mentioned in any records. The date we followtoday is the date that is mentioned on this matriculation examination papers. But the place of birth is know which is Karamsad.

6. Guarantee Payment of Privy Purses.

It is least mentioned in the history and know to very less that Patel is who advised the Constituent Assembly to guarantee payment of privy purses that would preserve the rights of erstwhile rulers. Congress rejected this idea eventually.

Sardhar Vallabhbhai Patel and Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi relationship is very close that can be explained from the fact that after Gandhiji’s death his health also started decline and with in two months he suffered an massive heart attack which he could not survive.
