Indian Council For Cultural Relations Invites Nominations for International Cultural Festivals 2026–27
Indian Council For Cultural Relations will organise its annual Cultural Festivals during the Financial Year 2026–27 in different cities across India and invites nominations from interested international artists and cultural groups.
Proposed genres include:
Dance: Classical, Contemporary, Folk, Tribal, Ramayana, Ballet, Puppetry, etc.
Music: Percussion, Choir, Orchestra, Folk Music, Instrumental Music, etc.
Performances should reflect the country’s indigenous cultural heritage.
Proposed genre: Popular Jazz groups, including rhythmic, catchy instrumental music, solo and ensemble performances.
Subject to the applicable terms and approvals, ICCR will provide:
Facilitation of entry visas to India
Local hospitality, including boarding and lodging
Inter-city and local transportation
Venue, technical and publicity arrangements
Costs related to organising and presenting the programmes
The participating artists/groups will be responsible for:
International air travel
Medical insurance, if required
Performance fees, if applicable
These conditions are subject to ICCR’s applicable terms & exemptions will require specific approval from the competent authority.
#ICCR also encourages reciprocity in cultural exchanges, whereby Indian cultural troupes may have opportunities to perform in the participating artists’ respective countries.
